Reiko Sudo, the textile designer, shares her experiences with the gorgeous fabrics she has discovered in different production regions of Japan. Not only does she detail the production process, but also incorporates the cultural and historical influences that contribute to the creation of these fabrics. The second edition features techniques such as pour dyeing, needle punch, Kai silk, corduroy, and hand screen printing. It is bilingual, with both Japanese and English translations.
